The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Ronald Carr can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Jim Chapman

Spent a lot of time with Ron over the last 19 years; he was a die hard Dallas Cowboy fan and I know he must be looking down and saying they "done did good" this past Sunday; traveled with Ron often down to Baltimore, John Hopkins and Columbia, MD for medical treatment; we would always make a stop in Thurmont, MD at the Roy Rogers for his favorite stuff; when we were in Northern VA near the Marine Corps(IWO Jima) Memorial shortly after his first major brain operation at John Hopkins we stopped by and saw some of his old working arborists, and man he was ready to go back to work; then we would go to the Italian Store in Arlington and pickup the best Italian Sub sandwich that you would imagine. Those were the days; when traveling we would always do the back roads and see the country and especially the trees like they were meant to see, he just loved the trees. Ron, I'll always remember your steadfast courage in going through successive brain surgeries; R.I.P Semper Fi Marine
