The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Sheets can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Linda McCann
Condolence: Such a special gentle man. All of us whose life he touched will carry his sweet sly smile and kind ways in our memories. He and Frances were a very special part of my teenage years in Virginia. Rest in peace Dear Friend, you will be missed by many but we know you are home where you longed to be.

Condolence: I was privileged to have grown up next to Johnny and Francis. They were the best friends and neighbors. My sisters and I visited Grafton with them many times growing up. I have visited them several times in the past few years. Johnny was the perfect host and took us on a tour around Grafton. He will be greatly missed. RIP Johnny.

Condolence: Uncle Johnny was a fine man...he was kind and loving and gentle..so many good memories...from Tommy's childhood and after we married......he had a love for Christ and knew where his eternal home would be...we were so lucky to have spent a couple days at his home just recently...we stopped to visit and he insisted we stay..we had a meal out together and family gathered and he played his guitar for us...he sang "When He Was On The Cross...I Was On His Mind..." God is good...rest well, Uncle Johnny....say hello to Aunt Frances.....keep the light on for us...love you...Tom and Beckie
