Obituary for Edward A. Smallwood

Edward A. Smallwood, age 63, of Fairmont, WV (formerly of Grafton) passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2015. He was born June 16, 1951, the son of the late
Dellett L. Smallwood and the late Barbara E. Kester.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, David Smallwood and Michael Miller.

He is survived by two sons, Edward A. Smallwood II (Kelly) of Pittsburgh, PA and Jeremy R. Smallwood (Jenny) of Enterprise, WV; two step-daughters, Jacqueline Renee David and Heather Fleming (Gary); six grandchildren, Quentin Whitecotton, Tavarius Fleming, Kieanna Fleming, Adrianna Curtis, Savanna Curtis, and Samantha Smallwood; and one sister, Kim Suan.

Mr. Smallwood graduated from Grafton High School with the Class of 1969 and attended WVU. He was retired from Equitable Gas after nearly 40 years of service.
He was an avid WVU and Steelers fan, and loved to read, fish and spend time with his family.

The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton on Wednesday, March 11th from 10:00 a.m. until the memorial service at 12:00 noon with Pastor James E. Johnson officiating.
