The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Dr. Barbara Drainer can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Daytona Beach

I began to know Aunt Barb by the gift packages she used to send when I was married to Chuck Drainer. I reached out to get to know her to be a warm , kind and loving person. After I divorced Chuck I kept in touch with her and she helped me so much that in the spring of 1986 I took my three children Angie, Cody and Micha to visit her in Daytona. We continued going to visit her almost every year for 6 years as I could afford to. My children has the best memories from her as she was the only family they knew from chuck side of the family. She helped them with there family tree in school. Walks on the beach with her or little shopping trips or nice dinners at her apartment are such good memories. We have missed her for a long time because we could not find her. What a wonderful woman. We love you Aunt Barb
