Condolence: I never met Ron but heard a lot about him from his sister Dee. I am sorry for her and the family hear of his passing. I am also thankful his service in the United States Marine Corp. It is comforting to know that he is no longer suffering after his long hard fight with parkinsons and that he is finally at peace.

Condolence: We met Ron through his lovely sister Dee. We enjoyed several dinners with him at her PA home. While we never knew him well we respect that he was a Marine and a tree surgeon as it is a notoriously arduous job. We are especially sorry for sister Dee and other surviving family.

Condolence: Spent a lot of time with Ron over the last 19 years; he was a die hard Dallas Cowboy fan and I know he must be looking down and saying they "done did good" this past Sunday; traveled with Ron often down to Baltimore, John Hopkins and Columbia, MD for medical treatment; we would always make a stop in Thurmont, MD at the Roy Rogers for his favorite stuff; when we were in Northern VA near the Marine Corps(IWO Jima) Memorial shortly after his first major brain operation at John Hopkins we stopped by and saw some of his old working arborists, and man he was ready to go back to work; then we would go to the Italian Store in Arlington and pickup the best Italian Sub sandwich that you would imagine. Those were the days; when traveling we would always do the back roads and see the country and especially the trees like they were meant to see, he just loved the trees. Ron, I'll always remember your steadfast courage in going through successive brain surgeries; R.I.P Semper Fi Marine
