Linda Lou (Murray) Reed 71 of Reed Ridge Road, Grafton passed away Friday, March 17, 2017 at Ruby Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family.

She was born December 28, 1945, in Boothsville, WV the daughter of the late Carl Oscar and Bessie (Macielfresh) Murray.

Linda is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years Robert Allen Reed: two children Robert Carl Reed and wife Kathy Reed of Monongah, WV: Timothy A. Reed and wife Lisa Reed of Grafton: nine grandchildren, Mike Kingston, Kody A. Reed, Amber Reed, Allie Kingston, Elizabeth Reed, Robert Beall, Josh Beall, Crystal Beall, and Barbara Hicks: also four great grandchildren: one sister Irene Burnsworth of Fairmont, WV.

She is preceded in death by on brother: Carl Oscar Murray Jr. and one sister Viola Cain.

Linda worked at Westinghouse as a machine operator and at G.C. Murphy’s . She attended Boothsville United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Fountain of Life Outreach Center, Beech Mountain Sportman’s Club, W V Muzzle Loaders Club, and WV Primitive Club.

There will be no visitation and at Linda’s request she will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at the F.O.L. Outreach Center on Saturday March 25, 2017 at 1:00 P.M.
