Clarence John  Lefler
Clarence John Lefler, age 88 of Knottsville Road, Grafton, WV passed away Monday, March 6, 2017 at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport.
He was born October 22, 1928 in Alpha, NJ a son of the late John R. and Cora Mae (Benning) Lefler.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Mary Katherine (Merrill) Lefler; four children, John Raymond Lefler and wife, Terry of Phillipsburg, NJ, Terry Elaine Ingle and husband, Ken of Easton, PA, Barbara Ann Rush and husband, James also of Easton, PA, and Raymond Eslie Lefler and wife, Susan of Grafton; eight grandchildren, Laura Lee Hutchison, John R. Lefler, Jr., David William Trumbore, Jennifer Ann Rush, Amanda Marie Rush, Rebecca Catherine Rush, SarahJean McGee, and Eslieann Lefler; one great-grandson, Westley Alan Hutchison; and also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters.

Clarence served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and was a crane operator for Ingersoll- Rand in Phillipsburg, NJ. He was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church in Independence, WV

He enjoyed his family, working, and traveling.

The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton on Saturday, March 11th from 11:00-1:00 p.m.
Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Craig Johnson and Pastor Steve Meadows officiating.
Interment will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Independence. Military graveside services will be conducted by the Taylor County Honor Guard and the Army.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations be made in Clarence's name to Amedisys Hospice
