Obituary for Barbara Louise "Bobbie" Runner
Barbara L.”Bobbie” Runner, age 62 of West Francis Street, Grafton, WV passed away Tuesday,
January 03, 2017 at her residence.
She was born May 30, 1954 in Rowlesburg, WV a daughter of the late William Forrest and Gladys Virginia (Poling) Runner.
She is survived by one sister, Rita E. Runner and companion, John Danks of Grafton; two brothers, Franklin B. Runner and wife Pat of Thornton and Freeman J. Runner of Bridgeport; four half- sisters, Phyllis Hoffa and husband John, of Gaston, NC, Melvina Poling Cummings and husband Dwight, of Gaston, NC, Norma Burke and husband Alvin, of Grafton, and Lovetta Poling Spence of Grafton; three half -brothers, Leeroy Ayersman and wife Jaretta of Gaston, NC, Dallas Runner and wife Peggy, of Clarksville, TN, and Marrel Runner and wife Dessie, of Lewisburg, TN; a special niece, Jennifer Hose, who helped her mother, Rita, with ”Bobbie’s” care.
The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home on Friday, January 6th from
4:00-8:00 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour on Saturday.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Orville Wright officiating.
Interment will follow at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Thornton.
