Gregory Alan  Reed
Gregory Alan Reed, age 68, of Victory Ave., Grafton, WV passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016 at his residence. He was born July 28, 1948 in Grafton a son of the late William P.O. Reed and Rita Louise (Sinsel) Reed.

He is survived by one son, Scott Reed and wife Melony Reed of Morgantown; one granddaughter, Alexa R. Reed, also of Morgantown, WV; two brothers, James M. Reed of Morgantown, WV and Larry D. Reed of Salem, Oregon; also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He graduated from Grafton High School with the Class of 1966.

Greg retired from CSX Railroad as a Clerk with 40 years of service. He was last employed at Grafton Exxon as Head of Security and Public Relations.

Greg was a loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed his family, especially his granddaughter, collecting baseball cards with his son, WVU Mountaineers football and basketball, Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates, and all sports at Grafton High School.

He attended the Trinity United Methodist Church on Dewey Avenue and was the Chairman of the Board for the railroad union.

The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton on Sunday, September 4, 2016 from 1:00-3:00 p.m.
A memorial service to honor Greg will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Sean Wightman officiating
