Obituary for Ronald S. Kisner

Ronald S. Kisner, age 81, of Little Kisner Road, Bridgeport, WV passed away Saturday, July 30, 2016 at his residence.
He was born October 14, 1934 in Morgantown, WV a son of the late Ansel Guy and Edith G. (Marsh) Kisner.

He is survived by three sons, Mark D. Kisner, Sr. and fiancée Vickie McCoy of Bridgeport, Arlie S. Kisner and wife, Pam of Grafton, and Barry A. Kisner also of Bridgeport; two grandchildren, Mark D. Kisner, Jr. and wife, Destiny of Bridgeport and April R. Swiger and fiancé Scott Gibson of Bridgeport; two step grandsons, John Ball and wife, Shelly of Bridgeport and Joe Nestor of Georgia; several great-grandchildren; one brother, Terry Kisner and wife Nadine of Grafton; three sisters, Betty Hibbs of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, Trina Vallorani and husband, Gene of Beaumont, TX, Debbie Opyoke and husband, Andy of Grafton; also several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Jean (Little) Kisner; one son, Stephen R. Kisner; three sisters, Barbara Kester, Dina Cathell, and Maxine Moore; four brothers, Don Kisner, Ansel “Dowdy” Kisner, Jack Kisner, and Guy Kisner; daughters-in-law, Joyce A. Kisner and Nancy L. Kisner; and brother-in-law, Sonny Hibbs.

Ron was a self-employed contractor and a member of the Galilean Baptist Church. He enjoyed his family, hunting, gardening, and wrestling.

The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton on Tuesday, August 2nd from 2:00-8:00 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour on Wednesday.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jim Soloman officiating.
Interment will follow at the Harmony Grove Cemetery.
