Obituary for Vianna Luvon Poston (Mayle)
Vianna Luvon (Mayle) Poston, age 74, of Grafton, WV passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at her residence, the Wallace B. Murphy Nursing Care Facility.
She was born September 21, 1941 in Grafton, WV a daughter of the late Oder Wadsworth and Dessie Virginia (Norris) Mayle.
She is survived by three children, Calvin “Chip” Poston and wife, Andrea, Michael “Mike” Poston and wife, Debbie, and Thomas E. Poston, all of Grafton; nineteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Cozetta Mayle of Avondale, MI, Goldie Sinsel of Youngstown, OH, Violet Croston of Grafton; and also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Calvin Carl Poston, Sr. and one grandson, Matthew “Matty” Mayle.
Vianna worked as a caregiver and attended Grafton Wesleyan Holiness Church. She enjoyed her family, singing, going to sings, and enjoyed life.
The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton on Thursday, June 23rd from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour on Friday.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. R. Mark Miller officiating.
Interment will follow at the West Hill Cemetery.
