Evelyn V. (Mayle) Mayle age 88 of Ludwig Road, Grafton, WV passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
She was born May 28, 1927 in Grafton, the daughter of the late Joseph Sherman Mayle and Grace Louise (Barnes) Mayle.

She is survived by three daughters, Joetta Mayle and husband Ernest of Grafton, Marlene Nash and companion Steve Cobbs, of Columbus, Ohio, Lisa Stewart and husband Roger of Glenville, WV; three sons, William “Bill” Mayle and wife Michele of E. Canton, OH, Jack Mayle and wife Marsha, of Louisville, OH, and Larry “Mike” Mayle and wife, Patty of Grafton; twelve grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Eloise Parsons and husband Jimmie of Grafton, and Marda Sincel of New Middletown, OH; one brother Jerry Mayle and wife Marlene, of Grafton,

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Mayle; one son, Kevin Lee, who died in infancy; one brother Oral “Jim” Mayle; and one sister, Eileen Ross.

She retired from the Taylor County Court House as a custodian and she was a member of the West Hill Wesleyan Methodist Church.

Evelyn enjoyed cooking, gardening, feeding humming birds and especially her family and her dog, Sammie Jo.

The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton on Friday, January 29th from 2:00-8:00 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour on Saturday. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Paul Mullen and Rev. Mark Miller officiating. Interment will be Monday, February 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the West Virginia National Cemetery in Pruntytown. Those wishing to go to the cemetery please meet at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m.
