Obituary for Harry Charles Byerly

Harry C. Byerly, age 84 of Little Acre Lane, Shinnston, WV passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015 at his residence.
He was born June 20, 1931 in Conestoga, PA a son of the late Andrew R. and Mabel E. (Gerr) Byerly.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Clara O. (Howle) Byerly of Shinnston; four children, Clayton C. Byerly of Henderson, MD; Rose Marie Clark of Georgetown, DE; Nora O. Wright of Milton, DE; and Clifford D. Byerly of Kerrville, TX; 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granchild; three sisters, Grace Beyer, of PA, Ruth Sload, PA, and Virginia Pell of FL; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.

Harry was a veteran of WWII serving in the US Air Force as a Staff Sgt.
He worked for Middletown Home Sales in Fairmont and also worked in the produce department at Food Lion.

At Harry’s request, he will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later time at the WV National Cemetery.
