Obituary for Stephen Ronald Kisner

Stephen R. Kisner, age 60 of Freeman Hill Road (off Corbin Branch in Taylor County), Bridgeport, WV passed away Saturday, November 7, 2015 at his residence.
He was born March 1, 1955 in Clarksburg, WV a son of Ronald S. Kisner of Bridgeport and the late Doris Jean (Little) Kisner.

He is survived by three brothers, Mark D. Kisner of Bridgeport, Arlie S. Kisner and wife, Pam of Grafton, and Barry A. Kisner also of Bridgeport; his companion, Robin Simmons of Boothsville; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his mother, Steve was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Ann (Warder) Kisner who passed away in March 2013.

He graduated from Flemington High School with the Class of 1973. He was the former Sheriff of Taylor County from 1990-1994 . He last worked as a security guard at NASA.

Steve enjoyed his family, riding his motorcycle, hunting, and watching Star Trek and collecting Star Trek memorabilia.
He was a member of the Galilean Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton on Wednesday, November 11th from 2:00-8:00 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour on Thursday.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, November 12, 2015 with Rev. Jim Soloman officiating.
Interment will follow at the Clermont Cemetery in Whitehall.
