Lillian A. (Larew) Taylor, age 86 of West Main Street, Grafton, WV passed away Saturday, August 29, 2015 at her residence.
She was born September 22, 1928 in Rowlesburg, WV a daughter of the late Dorsey and Nellie (Goff) Larew.
She is survived by one daughter, Judith A. Mayne and husband, Ervie of Grafton; two sons, Samuel W. Taylor and wife Emma Jean of Flemington and Donald C. Taylor of Grafton; four grandchildren, Kimberly Taylor, Sandy Johnston, Kathy Michael, and Ryan Taylor; three great-grandchildren, Sammy Bolyard, Josh Austin and Amber Hayes; one sister, Alta Piercy of Frostburg, MD; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Clifford Taylor; brother, Ralph Larew and half-brother, Melvin Larew.
Lillian worked at the Taylor County Senior Center as an assistant cook and she enjoyed her family and reading.
She was a member of the First Christian Church of Grafton.
The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton on Tuesday, Sept. 1st from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour on Wednesday.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Darrell K. Pierce officiating.
Interment will follow at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Salt Lick, WV.
