Evelyn Geraldine (Pirone) McWilliams age 80 of 850 W. Main Street passed away Friday, August 14, 2015 at her residence. She was the wife of the late James Franklin “Sonny” McWilliams. She was born December 2, 1934 in Grafton the daughter of Delbert Anthony Pirone and Georgia Virginia (Cox) Pirone.

She is survived by two daughters: Debra L Reed and husband Jerry Reed: Brenda J. (Jamie) Rucker and husband Garry Rucker all of Grafton. Six grandchildren : Heidi J Reed Halbritter and husband Patrick of Grafton: Josh C Reed and fiance’ Lyndsie Sandifer of Corinith, Texas; Kendelyn J.Philips fiance’ Tyler Eddy of Morgantown; Bryson Philips of Grafton: Ben P Rucker and Skylar Rucker both of Grafton. Four great grandchildren; Gage L Reed; Jerra B, Jaxon T, and Jorgia E Halbritter ; all of Grafton. Also surviving one brother Paul Pirone of Salem , Ohio. And several nieces and nephews.

Evelyn graduated with the class of 1954 from Grafton High School.

She has worked as a housekeeper at the Tygart Lake State Park and caregiver for the elderly in Grafton.

Evelyn was a member of the First Baptist Church of Grafton, Taylor County Senior Citizens, Parkview Satalite, Food Pantry at the First Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home on Monday, August 17, 2015, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Evelyn will lie in state at the First Baptist Church Tuesday August 18, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Orville Wright officiating.

Interment will follow at the West Virginia National Cemetery
