Allen D. McKinley, age 63 of Beaver Run, Davis, WV passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015 at his residence.
He was born February 14, 1953 in Clarksburg, WV a son of the late John Allen McKinley who passed away June 8, 2010 and Golda L. (Smith) McKinley who passed away May 31, 2015.

He is survived by his former wife, Holly (Bruno) McKinley of Morgantown; two children, April D. Funck and husband, Andrew of Wilmington, NC and Shawn D. McKinley of Grafton; one brother, Gary Schaefer and fiance’ Brooke Otterson of Oxford, WI; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Marian Schaefer.

Allen graduated from Grafton High School with the Class of 1971 then retired in 2012 from CSX Railroad as a brakeman, conductor, and union leader with 40 years of service. He formerly attended the First Grace Brethren Church in Grafton.
He enjoyed his family, motorcycling, skiing, and spending time with his animals.

The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 from 4:00-8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mike Willis officiating.
Interment will follow in the Elk Garden Cemetery in Keyser, WV
