Janet Elaine  Smith
Janet E. Smith, age 57 of Miller Road, Grafton, WV passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at her residence.
She was born July 8, 1957 in Grafton a daughter of Carl Edgar Smith and the late Jacqueline V. (Satterfield) Smith.

She is survived by two sisters, Jennifer L. Knicely and husband, Russ and Jane L. Poling and husband, Rick all of Grafton; one brother, Alan C. Smith and wife, Laurie of Grafton; five nieces, Rachel Poling, Angel Heldreth, Samantha Poling, Sabrina Poling, and Emily Smith; one nephew, Chris Smith; three great nieces, Mackenzie Mayle, Corinne Heldreth, and Rylen Heldreth; two aunts, Helen Snyder of Grafton and Dorothy Smith of OH; also survived by several cousins.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her great nephew, Lane Heldreth.

Janet graduated from Grafton High School with the Class of 1975 and from Fairmont State University. She taught at the Fellowship Christian Academy in Grafton for over 20 years.

She was a member of the New Testament Fellowship Church and was a member of the Grafton Women’s Aglow.
Janet was actively involved with her family, nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton on Thursday, July 2nd from 3:00-8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at the New Testament Fellowship Church on Friday, July 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jimmie Johnson officiating.
Interment will follow at the Woodsdale Memorial Park Cemetery in Grafton.
Janet will lie in state at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11:00 on Friday.
