Obituary for Willard Jackson "Jack" Poling

Willard Jackson “Jack” Poling, age 84, of Wickwire Road, Grafton, WV passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at his residence.
He was born November 28, 1930 in Grafton, WV a son of the late Lloyd Wilson Poling and Stella May (Goff) Poling.

He is survived by two sisters, Mildred B. Weaver of Grafton and Ruth E. Carroll of Morgantown; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six sisters, Lillian, Lila, Pauline, Goldie, Bessie and Dessie and five brothers, Lloyd, Theodore, Clyde, Leroy, and Ray Poling.

Jack graduated from Grafton High School with the Class of 1950 then served in the US Army from
1952-1954. He worked for Carroll Lumber Company in Morgantown and he was formerly a member of the Boilermaker’s Union 667 in Charleston.

The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton on Saturday,
May 30, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on at 1:00 p.m. with Lay Minister Jimmy Arnold officiating.
Interment will follow at the Woodsdale Memorial Park Cemetery in Grafton.
Military graveside services will be conducted by the Taylor County Honor Guard and the WV Army National Guard Honor Guard of Kingwood.
