Ellen L. (Burnside) Tingler, age 90 of Haymond Road, Grafton, WV passed away Monday, January 19, 2015 at her residence.
She was born June 5, 1924 in Clarksburg, WV a daughter of the late Roy Z. and Audra (Manley) Burnside.
She is survived by two children, Rusty Tingler and wife, Kathy of Grafton and Cathy Duckworth of Bradenton, FL; four grandchildren, Derald Tingler and wife Carie of Martinsburg, WV, Kelly Criss and husband, Marc of Sachse TX, Heather Duckworth and Tina Duckworth, both of FL; three great-grandchildren, Lindsey Tingler, Jud Criss, and Eli Haynes: three sisters Phyllis Keith and husband Bob Keith, Pat Atkins both of Sabastian, Fla., Dorothy Wildey of Baca Raton, Fla., one very special niece Elizabeth Davis, and very special nephew Keith Bell.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Carroll whom passed away January 11, 2015, two sisters Ada Bell, and Mary Deakins.
Ellen was a member of the Blueville United Methodist Church of Grafton and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW, American Legion, and a member of the Modern Woodman of The World. She worked as a housewife and mother.
At Ellen’s request, she will be cremated. There will be no funeral home visitation or funeral at this time.
