Anita (Arble) Runner of Bridgeport, formerly of Grafton, passed away Monday, November 17, 2014 after a short illness. Loving wife and fiercely proud mother and grandmother, Anita is survived by her husband Robert, and her children Diane Lynette (Jennifer), Jason (Micki), Joshua, Nicholas (Ginnie) and her grandchildren: Louie Stevens, William Neubauer, Angel Nestor, Choloe Runner, Zane Runner Gerlach, and Claire Runner.
Anita was preceded in death by her parents, Robert L. and Louise R. Arble. She is survived by her brother Harry Arble and Barbara. Anita also leaves behind sisters-in-law, Wilma Bowman and husband Richard, Roberta Murray and husband John, deceased, and nephew Christopher. Anita was proud to be along-time member of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church.
There will be a private, family visitation on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at noon. Friends are encouraged to call from 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m.
At Anita’s request, she will be cremated.
A memorial graveside service will be held at the WV National Cemetery in Pruntytown at a later date.
