Obituary for James Milton "Jim" Robison

James “Jim” Milton Robison, age 75 of Camp Towels Road, Grafton, WV passed away Sunday, January 5, 2014 at Donna Mayle’s Personal Care Home.
He was born June 4, 1938 in Grafton, WV a son of the late Paul and Katy (Moore) Robison.

He is survived by his former wife, Jane (McDaniel) Robison of Grafton; two daughters, Candace J. Layfield and husband, Greg Layfield of Grafton and Jaime M. Burgoyne and husband, Max Burgoyne,Jr. of Newburg, WV; three grandchildren, Andre Layfield and girlfriend, Mandy Petrelle of Grafton , Ky Layfield and wife, Destiny of Macon, GA, and Gabrielle A. Burgoyne of Newburg; two sisters, Hazel Henderson of Newark, OH and Joyce Bealer and husband, “Skip” Bealer of Durham, NC; and nieces and nephews, Gary Robison, Robert Robison, David Robison, and Kathy Carter, all of Utah, Geri Roberts of FL, Elizabeth Rector of Ohio, Tina White of Kentucky, and Steve Lambert of Grafton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Cecil Robison.

Jim served in the US Army from 1959-1961 and he was a former member of the Grafton Moose Lodge.
He worked as a carpenter for the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America.
