Obituary for Richard Fielden "Rich" Rager

Richard Fielden “Rich” Rager, age 78 of Simpson Road, Grafton, WV passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at the home of Lonnie and Donna Mayle.
He was born September 28, 1942 in Kingwood, WV a son of the late Fielden Richard and Sarah Virginia (Pyles) Rager.

He is survived by three children, Regina S. Rager and companion Tim Corrothers, Trina F. Rager, Lisa M. Lantz, all of Flemington; six grandchildren, Kelly Corrothers, Devin “Levi” Corrothers, Justin Lantz, Brandon Rager, Travis Rager, and Chris Wilfong; several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Phil (Tina) Rager, and Dave (Linda) Rager; three sisters, Francis (Bob) Colebank, Marlyn Sinnett, and Emma Taylor; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Rich was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Sue (Wilson) Rager and one daughter, Tina K. Wilfong.

Rich owned and operated RRHAMCO, Inc. for 43 years.
He helped many communities and schools around the area, such as building the Simpson playground, helping finance the new Grafton High School football field, Phillip Barbour football field, donated to the AB Collage, the Toad Hall in Grafton, Grafton Fire Department, the Boy Scouts and many others too numerous to mention.
He enjoyed fishing, his flowers, traveling, collecting porcelain signs, and going “junkin”, but most of all he loved his family.
