Raymond Frederick Solberg, age 77 or Lynn Chapel Road, Graton, WV passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018 at his residence.
He was born December 18, 1940 in Hammond, IN a son of the late Bernard Frederick and Oma Grace (Ashby) Solberg.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Elaine Ann (Stuppy) Solberg; two sons, Richard R. Solberg and wife Shelly and Michael M. Solberg, all of Grafton; three grandchildren, Brittany L. Welch and husband George, of Fairmont, WV, Michael R. Solberg of Hammond, IN, and Joseph C. Solberg and fiancé Courtney Weaver of Weston, WV; one sister, Betty Setler of Leesburg, FL; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters who lived in Hammond, Indiana and one half-sister, Rene McDaniel of Grafton.

Raymond was the owner of Solberg Plumbing & Heating Company of Grafton for over 50 years. He was a member of the Grafton Masonic Lodge #15 and was a 32nd Degree Mason of Hammond , IN. He was also member of the Orak Shrine Club in Hammond, IN.
He was also a private pilot and loved the beautiful state of West Virginia.
He was Methodist by faith.

The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton on Thursday,
May 31, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. David Pence officiating.
At Raymond’s request, he will then be cremated.
