Ralph Dennis Sigley, age 78 of Sandy Creek Road, Moatsville passed away on November 27, 2019 with his family by his side. Ralph was born on Laurel Mountain, Preston County, February 13, 1941 he was the son of Harold M. Sigley and Edna M. (Dixon) Sigley.
Ralph is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Glenda Joyce Sigley, two daughters: Carla Christine Sigley and Fiancee’ Walter Glen Tenpenny of Moatsville, Rhonda Kay Thrush and husband Michael of Grafton, WV, one son: William Martin Nose of Romney, WV, six grandchildren: Matt Kreeger, Ashley Thorn, Rikki Waream, Cassie Waream, Amy Moore, Kyle Thrush, eleven great grandchildren: Cayd, Jeremy, Jude, Gracy, Kayleeana, Lilly, Natalie, Rebecca, Katherine, Oliver and Sierra; one brother: Hugh Morris Sigley of Hancock, Md.; one sister: Donna Ridenour and husband Willie of Moatsville, WV, Mother-in-law: Emily Albertine Withers, of Grafton, and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by one daughter: Shelby Lynn Moore and two sisters, Helen Duckworth and Evelyn Anderson.
Ralph began working at F.J. Kress Company, then, he worked at St. Regis Paper Company, Tenneco,
Georgia Pacific, PCA, where he started on July 11, 1960 and Ralph had the most seniority of anyone who ever worked there.
Ralph was a protestant by faith. He enjoyed his family, hunting, fishing, camping, coaching and working on his farm and enjoyed playing with his dog Harley.
Family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home Sunday, December 1, 2019 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and 10:00 till the funeral hour on Monday.
Funeral service will be held a t the funeral home on Monday, December 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Gary Whitescarver officiating.
Interment will follow at the Hepzibah Cemetery in Taylor County.
