Obituary for Rachel Nicole Davis (Bailey)
Rachel Nicole (Bailey) Davis, age 28 of Grafton Road, Fairmont, WV went to be with the Lord Saturday, August 4, 2018 in Logan County, WV.
She was born February 25, 1990 in Bethesda, MD, the daughter of Hansford E. Bailey, Jr. and wife Kimberly D. (Starr) Bailey of Fairmont.
She was also survived by her husband, J.D. Davis of Grafton; five children, Joshua A. Davis, Noah E. Davis, Luke M. Davis, Sarah J. Davis, and Braxton C. Davis, all of Fairmont; two brothers, Hansford S. Bailey and wife Samantha of Masontown, PA and Christopher I. Bailey of Fairmont; maternal grandparents, Hansford E. Bailey and wife Opal, of Wardensville, WV; paternal grandfather Sam Starr of Maitwan, WV; her mother-in-law, Joyce Davis of Grafton; her father-in-law, Jeff Davis and wife, Debbie of Grafton; and also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Sarah Starr; two aunts, Pam Hendricks and Becky Starr; and her cousin, Valerie Skidmore.
Rachel graduated from Grafton High School with the Class of 2007.
She was a beloved mother and sister to her family and best friend to her mother.
She enjoyed her children, enjoyed life, and put everyone else ahead of herself.
Rachel attended the Message of Freedom Church in Grafton.
The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton on Saturday, August 11, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.
Funeral service will follow the viewing at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Mike Stottlemyer officiating.
Interment will follow at the Woodsdale Memorial Park Cemetery in Grafton.
