Obituary for Pamela Sue Davidson
Pamela Sue Davidson, age 53 of Benny Bryan Blvd., Grafton, WV passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at her residence.
She was born August 31, 1965 in Waynesburg, PA the daughter of Mary “Aldene” (Gump) Davidson and the late Rev. Sherman G. Davidson.
She is survived by two cousins, Shaundra Bissett and husband Richard, of Morgantown, WV and Thomas Davidson, Jr. and wife Rose, of Jefferson, PA.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Bert and Zella Gump, her paternal grandparents Margaret and Harold Davidson, one uncle, Tom Davidson, and one aunt, Martha Davidson.
Pam graduated from Wheeling Park High School with the Class of 1983.
She was a member of the Golden Glow Rebecca Lodge #299, the Taylor County Sheltered Workshop, where she delivered mail and also a member of the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church.
She loved playing with her dog, “Samantha”, going to church, taking care of her mother, playing on her tablet, and shopping at Walmart.
The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton on Saturday, May 18th from 2:00-8:00 p.m. and from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Judy Flynn officiating.
Interment will follow at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
