Melba “Nadine” (Richards) Gough, age 85 of Grafton, WV (Pruntytown Community) passed away
Saturday, August 24, 2019 at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport.
She was born July 8, 1934 in Simpson, WV a daughter of the late James Kenneth and Gladys Elizabeth (Probst) Richards.
She is survived by her son, John R. Gough of Grafton; two daughters, Vickie Saffle (Howard) of Bridgeport, WV and Virginia Wilson (Alan) of Clarksburg; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Kenneth Richards (Pam) of OH; one sister, Shirley Horvath (Dink) of OH; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents Nadine was preceded in death by her husband, John Wesley Gough; one brother, Bacel Richards; and one sister, Midge Faulner.
Nadine worked at WV Plastics, Grafton Apparel Company, Taylor County Senior Center, and the Seven- Eleven store in Grafton.
She enjoyed her family, talking to people, and she loved the Lord.
She was a member of the Message of Freedom Church in Grafton.
The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton on Tuesday, August 27th from 3:00-8:00 p.m.
Funeral service will be held on at the Message of Freedom Church at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 with Pastor Michael Stottlemyer officiating.
Interment will follow at the WV National Cemetery in Pruntytown.
Mrs. Gough will lie in state at the church from 10:00 a.m. till the funeral hour.
