Obituary for Karen Ann Tighe (Baxter)
Karen Ann Tighe age 73 of Washington St, Grafton, WV passed away Saturday, July 27, 2018 at Pierpoint Center in Fairmont, WV.
She was born January 9, 1946 in Pittsburg, Pa the daughter of the late John R. Baxter Sr. and Virginia (Williams) Baxter.
Karen is survived by one son David Paul Tighe of Pennsboro, WV, three grandchildren: Kayla Tighe, Kelli Tighe, David Paul “D.J.” Tighe Jr: four great grandchildren, one brother: John R. Baxter of Pa, one sister: Margaret Johnson of Pa. also her best friend Melissa Satterfield and Mick Snodgrass of Fairmont, WV. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by two brothers: Waren Baxter and Wayne Baxter.
Karen was a door greeter at Wall-Mart in Grafton. She enjoyed her family, friends, and Elvis Presley.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 31, 2019. Then she will be cremated and she will be inurned at Bluemont Cemetery at a later date.
