Obituary for John Jacob Pifer
John J. Pifer, age 48, of W. Knotts Ave., Grafton, WV passed away unexpectedly Thursday, January 21, 2021 at his home.
He was born September 4, 1972 in Morgantown, WV a son of the late Dorsey John Pifer and Dorothy June (Dolan) Pifer.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Valerie R. Lutock-Bolyard Pifer; two daughters, Vayley June Pifer at home and Amanda Junkins of SC; and one son, Devin John Pifer also at home; one brother, Calvin Pete Pifer and wife Debbie of Masontown, WV.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Christine Paugh and Iris Ridenour and one brother, David L. Donne.
John graduated from Clay Batelle High School with the Class of 1994.
He was in charge of maintenance for several different apartment complexes during his life.
John enjoyed his family, camping, fishing, and traveling.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
