Ida Joleene Minear 83 , passed away December 7, 2021 at home with her loving family by her side.
Joleene was born March 18, 1938 the daughter of the late John Leon Findley and Vivian Genevieve (Bryan) Findley in Philippi, WV.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jack Minear, three children; Jacaleene Youmans of Fairmont, WV Jonavieve Lockhart of Parkersburg, WV and Jonathan Minear (Leisa) Grafton, WV; five grandchildren Jared Lockhart (Courtney) Lynchburg, VA, Jacob Minear, Hawaii, Brendan Youmans, Kaleena Youmans, Fairmont , Caleb Minear, Grafton, WV. Also: two brothers Roger Findley wife Kay, and Sheldon Findley wife Linda.
Joleene was a homemaker, a selfless, kind, generous , loving, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home Friday December 10, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11:00. With
Rev. David Bess officiating. Interment will follow at the Simpson Cemetery, The Donald g. Ford Funeral Home is honored to serve the Minear family. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the St. Judes Childrens Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105
