Obituary for Edith Pauline Kenney (Riffle)

Edith Pauline (Riffle) Knight Kenney age 92 of Lincoln Street, Grafton passed away at the
Grafton City Hospital Saturday, September 15, 2019,

Edith was born in Grafton, WV the daughter of the late Stella Melvina (McVicker) Riffle on June 11, 1926.

Surviving are two sons : Presley C. Knight and wife Glenda(Weaver) Knight, Cecil Ray Knight Jr. both of Grafton, two granddaughters: Shelley Ball and husband John Ball, Kyla Palmer and husband Shawn Palmer both of Grafton; two grandsons: Jason McDaniel and wife Natasha McDaniel and Casey Knight and wife
Breanna Knight also of Grafton, WV: also surviving are five great grandchildren: Cole Presley Ball, Brayden Palmer, Damien McDaniel, Landon Knight and Brooklyn Palmer.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by, her first husband Cecil Ray Knight Sr. and second husband Scott Alexander Kenney Jr.: one daughter: Tammy Lynn Moats; one daughter-in-law: Karen Knight: one granddaughter: Annisa Shuttleworth Shero: also one brother: Rosco McQuain.

Edith was a homemaker and housewife, a member of the VFW Ladies Auxillary. She was a member of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church .

Edith enjoyed her family, cooking, crossword puzzles and reading.

Family will receive friends Thursday, September 20, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. till 12:00 noon. Funeral service will follow Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. noon with Pastor Lynn Cartwright officiating . Interment will follow at the WV National Cemetery at Pruntytown.

In lieu of flowers family wishes contributions made to the Taylor County Humane Society.
