Dorothy Mae (Hines) Smith, 84, of Parma, OH, went into the Loving Arms of our Heavenly Father on Sunday, February 11, 2018. She was born January 9, 1934 in Independence WV, and lived in Cleveland and Parma, OH for 66 years. Dorothy was the daughter of Doctor Franklin Hines and Ethel Mae (Reese) Hines and the wife of her beloved husband, Darl Lee Smith (deceased). She is survived by her daughters, Peggy Tooley Campbell, FL and Carol Lea Harris, AZ and son Charles Edward Smith, AZ, dear grandmother of 5, great grandmother of 17 and great, great grandmother of 1. Dorothy is also survived by her sisters, Priscilla Bastin, WV and Lyla Ruth Schulte, FL. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Martha Flanagan, Mary Dempsey, and brothers Jeremiah Hines, and Immanuel Hines, all of WV.

The family will receive friends and family at Busch Funeral Home, 7501 Ridge Rd. Parma, OH on Friday, February 16, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-7:00 with a service at 7 by Pastor Dale Klaehn from Bethel Christian in Parma, OH.
Friends and family will also be received at the Donald G.Ford Funeral Home 950 George Washington Hwy., Grafton, WV on Sunday, February 18, from 2:00-6:30 p.m. with a service at 6:30 by Pastor Jamie Gizzi of Bethel Temple, Bridgeport, WV.
Interment alongside her husband will be on Tuesday, February 20, at 10 am at the West Virginia National Cemetery, Grafton, WV.
