Condolence: I belong to Santa Clara de Asis Catholic parish in Yorba Linda, CA. It is the Memorial Day custom to especially honor the Military Men and Women who have died during the past year.
I drew the slip commemorating Command Sgt. Maj. Timothy Bolyard. I was first of all struck with the coincidence that my son shares the rank of Sgt. Maj. and that Timothy was also born in the 1970s.

We are all grateful for his devoted service and bravery.

I will be offering special prayers for Timothy, his loved ones, and for a world living at peace.

Condolence From: Howard Prince
Condolence: On behalf of all who have served in the 5/7 Cavalry from Vietnam to Iraq and Afghanistan, please allow me to express our heartfelt condolences to the friends and family of CSM Bolyard. He exemplified the best in the American Soldier: selfless service, courage, loyalty, leadership and the ultimate sacrifice. His loss will be felt most deeply by those who knew him personally. But the veterans of the 5/7 Cavalry also feel his loss for he was one of us, our brother. May God rest his soul and comfort his family in their grief.

Condolence: From all of us in the West Virginia Patriot Guard we say "Thank You CSM Bolyard" for your honorable and faithful service to our great Nation. It is only because of men and women like you that we continue to enjoy our freedom and liberties today.

It is our hope and prayer that your family and friends may find a measure of comfort through God's healing and mercy. May they also soon realize that, although no longer with them on this Earth, you continue to watch over them from your place among the Angels.

Stand at ease, Command Sergeant Major! Your mission is now complete. May you rest in Honored and Eternal Peace. God Speed, Sir.
Respects,

Condolence: We did not know CSM Bolyard but we are so grateful for his dedication and selfless service to our country. It takes a very special person to put their life in harms way for those of us he doesn't even know. We pray for strength and peace for all your family. We too lost our soldier to Afghanistan. Remember always their strength and service and love for you and the United States. Store all those precious memories in your heart. God Bless

Condolence: Amy there are not words appropriate enough to express how I feel at this time for you and your family. This is such a tragic event and the only comfort is in knowing he is with the Father and being a warrior for the Lord. I love you, I miss you and I am always here for you when and if you need me. God Bless you.
