Obituary for Charles E. Chocky Jr.
Charles E. Chocky Jr., 87, of Rosemont, WV, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022 at home. He was born at Wendel, WV on October 30, 1934, a son of the late Charles and Lena Chocky.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers: Robert and William Chocky.
On December 17, 1956 he married the love of his life Nancy (McCartney) Chocky who survives and together they had six children: Charles Gene Chocky, Trudy Renee Chocky Bowers and husband Stan, Bryan Curtis Chocky, Bradley James Chocky, Robert Allan Chocky, and Steven Gregory Chocky; one sister, Carolyn Criss; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mr. Chocky previously worked for the Ohio Rubber Company for 20 years and also Consol Mines for 20 years, as well as various other jobs prior. He was a loving husband, great father and grandfather, and had a heart of gold. He was a minister of God most of his life and would go without so you wouldn’t have to. He will be greatly missed very much by all who knew him.
