Obituary for Betty L. Felton

Betty Lou Felton, 80, of Simpson, WV, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at home with her family by her side. She was born at Coalton, WV on October 25, 1942, a daughter of the late Juel J. and Georgia O. (McDaniel) Wiseman.

In addition to her parents Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Marvin Brooks Felton on April 11, 2022; one brother Milford “Eddy” Wiseman; one sister Beverly Jo Wiseman; two step-sons: Marvin Duane Felton and Richard Felton; step-mother Waneita Wiseman; and two step-brothers, Larry Neal and Joe Westfall.

Betty is survived by her two children: Tim Felton (Michelle) of Simpson, and Tiffany Williams (Josh) of Bridgeport; two step-children: Michael Felton and John Felton; six grandchildren: Shane, Alex, Austin, Abby, Addison, and Benson; one great-granddaughter, Aceah; numerous step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; and seven siblings: Donald Wiseman (Izetta) of Rosemont, Dortha Vincent of Steubenville, OH, Wanita Kittle (Donnie) of Simpson, Melvin Wiseman (LaDonna) of Simpson, Karl Wiseman (Eileen) of Steubenville, OH, Rita Gray (Randy) of Rosemont, and Shirley Marks of Grafton; sister-in-law Carolyn Wiseman of Grafton; and a step-brother, Mike Westfall (Linda) of Simpson.

Betty was a graduate of Flemington High School Class of 1960 and a member of the Evans Chapel United Methodist Church. She enjoyed being at home, taking care of the house and also cooking for her family.

Family and friends will be received at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home 950 George Washington Hwy Grafton, WV, on Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 4 until 8pm. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday, February 3, 2023 at 11am with Pastor Lois Sandy presiding. Interment will follow at the Simpson Cemetery.
