Geraldine Mae “Gerry” (Waggoner) Gay, age 96 of Railroad Street, Grafton, WV passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at her residence.
She was born December 21, 1921 in Kenmore, OH a daughter of the late Luther and Ethel Mae (Strader) Waggoner.

She is survived by five grandchildren, Stephen M. Ford and wife Lisa of Morgantown, Donald S. Gay of Grafton, Joshua C. Gay of NC, Rayna D. Gay also of Grafton, and Chris Pinnell and wife Deanna of Newburg, WV; several great-grandchildren; and one half-aunt, Elizabeth Jewell, of Canton, OH who is 101 years old.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Adrian L. Gay; her daughter, Deborah Sue Ford Shuttleworth; her son, Donald Lyle Gay; one brother, Everett Waggoner: and two sisters, Lucille Queen Hinzman and Verona Jacobs Fry.

Gerry was a graduate of the Walkersville High School with the Class of 1939.
She was a member of the Wickwire CEO’s and a member of the First Baptist Church in Grafton.

The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton on Friday, August 17th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour on Saturday.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Roger Fleming officiating.
Interment will follow at the Forrest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Jane Lew, WV.
