Obituary for Leo Jeffrey Rogers

Leo Jeffrey Rogers, age 74 of Jefferson, PA passed away Saturday, October 8, 2016 at the Rolling Hills Nursing Home in Waynesburg.
He was born December 15, 1941 in Grafton, WV, a son of the late Robert Dorsey Rogers and Pauline Estell (Neason) Rogers.
He is survived by three sons, Jeffrey R. Rogers and wife, Kim of Jefferson, PA, Stephen C. Rogers and wife Jennifer, of St. Clairsville, OH, and Raymie V. Rogers of Columbus, OH; five grandchildren, Courtney Morris and husband Dave of Hawaii, Brittany Baker and husband Mike of Baltimore, MD, Jordan Rogers of Fairmont, WV, Tyler Brookover of St. Clairsville, OH, and Shaelynn Brookover also of St. Clairsville, OH; two great-grandchildren, Kherington Morris of Hawaii and Benjamin Baker of Baltimore, MD; one sister, Jackie Goodwin of Delaware; one sister-in-law, Carol Rogers of Proctorville, WV; and also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Raymie Rogers and two sisters, Mary Ann Lucas and Jeanie Criss.
Leo graduated from St. Augustine High School with the Class of 1959 and from Fairmont State College in 1995.
He worked in retail sales for the W.I. Grant Company and was an antiques dealer.
He enjoyed his family, the outdoors, hunting, and fishing and was an avid WVU Mountaineer fan.
He was a member of the St. Augustine Catholic Church in Grafton.
The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home on Thursday, October 13th from 10:00-2:00 p.m. The will be no funeral service at the funeral home. At Leo’s request he will then be cremated.
