Duane P. Courtney, age 69 of Grafton, WV passed away Friday, November 20, 2015 at the Wallace B. Murphy Nursing Home.
He was born in Grafton, WV a son of the late Clyde D. Courtney, Sr. and Elizabeth M. (Morris) Courtney.

He is survived by one brother, Blair Courtney and wife, Donetta of Grafton; two nephews, Daren Decker and Joseph Decker, both of Grafton; four nieces, Chris Waters, Lisa Barnheart, Linda Stevens and Jada Courtney all of Grafton; one sister-in-law, Patty Courtney of Grafton; and one brother-in-law, Robert Michael Wilson of Grafton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Clyde D. Courtney, Jr., and one sister, LaDonna Wilson.

Duane enjoyed music, dancing, eating, and watching football. He was Methodist by faith.

The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour on Wednesday.
Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Phil Nestor officiating.
Interment will follow at the Woodsdale Memorial Park Cemetery in Grafton.
