Obituary for Charlotte Ann Knotts

Charlotte A. Knotts, age 75, of George Washington Highway, Grafton, WV passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015 at home of Donna and Lonnie Mayle.
She was born December 12, 1939 in Thornton, WV, a daughter of the late James Bailey and Lena Louise (Jacobs) Knotts.

She is survived by her special caregivers, sister, Susie Shackelford and husband, Bob; sister-in-law, Dottie Knotts, all of Grafton; nephews, Brice Knotts and fiance’ Evie Brantmayer of Morgantown and Lance Knotts and wife, Dr. Sherry Knotts, of Grafton; three special nieces, Katelyn, Emily and Miley Knotts of Grafton; and a special nephew, Tim Moats and wife, Pam of Grafton.
In addition to her sister, Susie, she is survived by two other sisters, Peggy Colebank of Romney, WV and Sandra Knotts of North Carolina; one brother, Daniel Knotts of Ohio; and also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Trudie Duff, Rosemary Moats, and Dora Bucklew and two brothers, Robert Lee Knotts and James Knotts.

Charlotte worked as a Quality Control Manager at the Anchor Hocking Glass Plant in Dayville, CT, retiring after 30 years of service. She was also a former sales representative for Bankers Life and Casualty Company and Mutual of Omaha.

Charlotte enjoyed spending time with her family and reading. She was a member of the Haymond United Methodist Church.

The family will receive friends at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton on Tuesday, Feb. 10th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour on Wednesday.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Sue Lowther officiating.
Interment will follow in the Haymond Cemetery.
